COVID-19 UPDATES

October 23, 2020

Dear Extended Family,

On October 9th 2020, PA Governor Tom Wolf updated guidance for Monroe County. The prior restriction that was put into effect in July requiring wineries to require guests to purchase a food item along with their wine tasting or spirit tasting has been lifted. Guests may now come and do a wine tasting or purchase a cocktail or other alcoholic beverage without having to purchase food. We do still have options for food available in the tasting room, however.

Guests are still required to wear a mask when walking about the grounds and to remain socially distanced from other guests. We ask that you enjoy your tasting seated. Our capacity indoors has increased to 50% and we have now put up several dome structures outside for guests to have a hybrid indoor/outdoor dining experience in our pizzeria.

We have also moved our outdoor dining tent to behind the pizzeria and it will remain there for the continuation of the season. We will be heating it for continued seating throughout the winter months. Stay posted for updates as they come!

Thanks and stay safe!

Dear Extended Family,

On July 16th 2020, Governor Tom Wolf released a new mandate that requires us to add some new protocols to our service structure. In order to reduce congregation at our facility and meet the requirement that food and drinks are purchased in the same transaction, we've adopted the following protocols:

-Customers must either 1) purchase a food item along with their wine tasting or drink purchase or 2) show us your receipt that you have purchased menu items from our restaurant.

-Following your purchase you must remain seated at one of our outdoor tables. Our tasting room staff will bring your items to the table so that you are not being served at the bar.

-Please note that you can absolutely enjoy your wine tasting, wine slushees, cocktails, wine popsicles and other tasting room items while you are seated in the pizzeria indoor or outdoor dining.

-We still do not take or require reservations for groups less than 15.

We have plenty of options for you here that will ensure your safety and that we are following CDC guidelines. Ranging from our $5 cheese platters to $3 soft pretzels in the tasting room, or the wide array of mouth watering selections from the pizzeria we are doing our very best to ensure that guests can safely enjoy their experience here at Sorrenti Family Estate.

Please know that you may still order takeout online or at our window. We will be offering sangria, wine tastings, and slushees and cocktails to go for those of you who plan to purchase your items for take away.

We will continue to keep you posted with any and all updates. Sign up for our newsletter for the most recent information, sales, and more! Our current hours are posted on the contact page and will be updated if they change in the following weeks.

Thank you for your cooperation and continuing to support your local family businesses.

Sincerely,

The Sorrenti Family

June 2nd, 2020

Dear Extended Family,

Thank you so much for your support over the last few months. Without you, we don't know what we would have done! Even though this has been one of the toughest years in many, the support of our community and fans has helped us keep our doors open. Our amazing staff has been there to help us work on improvements internally and around our facility so that we can come back better than ever.

Although we initially anticipated a reopening in July, we have recently been informed by the Governor that starting Friday, June 5th we will be open for outdoor dining. This is incredibly exciting. We are still working out how our new flow will be but have been studying the restaurant and food safety guidelines for reopening to ensure the health and safety of our guests. We will also be monitoring the health of our employees to maintain a workplace that they can find comfortable.

We are opening up two new temporary service areas (our veranda and our pavilion) in order to be able to accommodate guests while maintaining the required 6' distance between tables in the dining areas. Therefore, there is no need to make reservations. Luckily two of three of these areas are covered! But we won't be completely protected from summer storms that are fierce!

All this being said, we are so happy to have you all back to relax and enjoy at our beautiful winery, distillery and pizzeria here in the scenic Cherry Valley. Please know that you may still order takeout online or at our window. We will be offering sangria, wine tastings, and slushees to go for those of you who plan to stay at home.

We will continue to keep you posted with any and all updates. Sign up for our newsletter for the most recent information, sales, and more! Our current hours are posted on the contact page and will be updated as they change over the next few weeks. Again. Thank you, thank you, thank you. If you are reading this, THANK YOU!

Sincerely,

The Sorrenti Family
